Day 58
Back in the US of A. Flat water all day. Beautiful fall day with sunshine and crispness that denotes a change in the scenery. Drummond Marina in in the boonies, but safe. We rented a car for $12 and will drive to "town". The staff at the marina promised us that the town has a pub, a church, a grocery store and a post office and that is all.

ReplyDeleteJenna sends her love, and Noah is doing well...chemo hasn't produced much as far as negative side effects, and we'll have a new set of scans in about 2 weeks to see its effect on his tumor.
gald to hear you finally have nice weather, you seam to really be enjoying yourselves. susie and I are discussing details for sally to come to chicago. she is reading a survival book for school about a plane crash, and its got her a "little"scared about flying alone. but she says shes up for the trip though.

Just got news on our boat Whittsend. they are giving up on trying to fix the problem. Mercury is going to send a whole new powerhead. Hopefully we will get some last minute fall boating. the leaves are turning quickly and the scenery is beautiful. Every morning i am reminded that God is great.....Love Guy
